The product I purchased is the best of both worlds, both in terms of gameplay and miniatures.
Also, the support for purchase and delivery was very good.

Good, but not as good as it could be

As an expansion to the highly acclaimed board game "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice," the "Roma" expansion offers players an opportunity to delve deeper into the historical world of Assassin's Creed. While it brings some new content to the table, including additional characters and scenarios, it falls short of delivering a truly captivating experience, leaving much to be desired.

One of the main drawbacks of the "Roma" expansion lies in its similarity to the core game. The introduction of new characters should have offered fresh and exciting gameplay dynamics. Unfortunately, these new characters feel too similar to their predecessors, failing to provide the innovative and diverse experience players might have hoped for. The lack of distinctiveness between the old and new characters can lead to a sense of repetitiveness, ultimately diminishing the expansion's potential impact.

Moreover, the level design within the "Roma" expansion is disappointingly simplistic and reminiscent of the core game. Players might have expected new and challenging environments that reflect the unique setting of Rome. However, the expansion falls short in this regard, failing to offer the immersive and distinctive level design that could have truly elevated the gameplay experience. The repetitive nature of the level design can leave players feeling unengaged and longing for more variety.

Despite these shortcomings, the "Roma" expansion does have its merits. The expansion successfully maintains the strong thematic elements and attention to detail that the core game is known for. Fans of the Assassin's Creed franchise will appreciate the continuation of the historical narrative, allowing them to further explore the rich lore and atmosphere of the game world. The expansion's scenarios also provide additional gameplay options, extending the overall replayability of the base game.

In conclusion, the "Roma" expansion for "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice" offers a mixed bag of new content. While it retains the strong thematic elements and continues the engaging storyline, its failure to provide distinctive new characters and level design is a missed opportunity. Despite its drawbacks, fans of the core game will likely enjoy the additional scenarios and the chance to dive deeper into the world of Assassin's Creed. However, those seeking a truly refreshing and innovative expansion may find themselves wanting more. Overall, "Roma" is an adequate addition to the game, but falls short of reaching its full potential.
