Level card “Barn”
This terrain from the expansion V-Sabotage: Secret Weapons is inspired by the Wildhorn III Operation which occurred in Poland, during the night between July 25th and 26th 1944.
The Polish Resistance got several pieces of the V-2 rocket, which was being tested by the Wehrmacht in the Blizna area. A Dakota from the RAF successfully landed despite the presence of many German troops and was loaded with the V-2 components. It managed to take off after several attempts that failed due to the muddy ground. Eventually, the precious components were delivered to London to be analysed.
