Playtests: Modifying the Alarm
The alarm went through 2 important changes during the game’s development.
First, we removed the rule that triggering the alarm on one terrain triggered the alarm on all terrains in play. It made the game far too difficult.
Second, we removed the rule that stated a German soldier had to be present on an alarm tile to activate it. It was realistic but complicated the game, and every time we explained the rule, brows furrowed and questions arose, generally a sign that something isn’t working…
