This card from the “V-Sabotage: Resistance” expansion is a tribute to Thibaud's great-grandmother, Marcelle Llewellyn, who ran a French resistance cell with Fleury Abbey.
René Detoc, one of the organization’s members, said: “In ’44, some English troops were hidden at our farm in Les Haies Blot […]. On Thursday, June 8, Germans searched the farm. The English were hiding in an improvised shelter, so we placed wooden planks and hay over its entrance. The Germans had a police dog. Luckily, we had spread pepper over the planks and the dogs were unable to smell the men. […] A little while later, the troops were able to make it to the zone libre."
