V-Commandos is exactly what I had hoped for and probably more. The game mechanics are not too difficult to learn and everything makes sense, from the movement to the shooting and dice rolling. It is highly thematic and recalls fond memories from my childhood playing similar games like Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines. I appreciate the solo aspect, which I have enjoyed most so far. Each Commando has specific traits that makes them interesting. It is truly difficult sometimes to pick between them. There are so many options. And I appreciate how you can play specific levels for a shorter game experience if you don't have the time for a full operation. This is a fantastic game. My only complaint is that some of the tiles lack specific features such as boats or water towers, etc. Things mentioned in the level cards. But I can easily get over that. The game is excellent!
